Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid City of Los Angeles Steam Engineer's License (Boilers License).
• Minimum 5 years of experience operating and maintaining industrial boilers and utility systems.
• Experience performing industrial facility maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
• Reading blueprints, schematics, operating manuals, and technical documents.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain boilers, wastewater treatment, and utility systems.
• Monitor water chemistry, gas and air pressures, and instrumentation.
• Troubleshoot utility system malfunctions and equipment failures.
• Perform startup and shutdown checks of utility systems.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on facility equipment.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for maintenance work.
• Maintain safety and environmental compliance.
