Job summary

Energo is a rapidly growing energy supplier serving NY, NJ, and PA. We seek an experienced Project Manager for boiler installation projects, responsible for bidding, planning, scheduling, and execution to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in boiler installations, strong knowledge of heating systems, and proven ability to coordinate crews, manage changes, and collaborate with clients and city agencies.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience managing boiler installations.
• Deep knowledge of boilers and heating systems (steam, hydronic, DHW, pumps, gas/oil, mechanical code, plumbing, basic electrical).
• Experience with oil-to-gas conversions and fuel-grade conversions (No. 4 to No. 2).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Detail oriented, team player with excellent follow-up and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify bid opportunities and review documents, plans, schedules and budgets to understand project scope.
• Prepare bid packages and estimates for boiler jobs.
• Maintain and update project schedules.
• Execute installations per construction documents (drawings, specs, manuals).
• Obtain and track permits and signoffs for projects.
• Schedule and oversee installation crews and subcontractors.
• Attend job walkthroughs as needed.
• Track budgets for labor and materials to keep projects within budget.
• Manage contract scope and ensure contract items are completed.
• Estimate change orders and coordinate customer approvals.
• Procure equipment and subcontracted services from vendors; ensure contract conditions are met.
• Attend site meetings with Architects, customers, engineers, and city agencies.
• Maintain relationships with all involved parties.
• Train customers on equipment operation after project completion.
• Maintain tracking logs for all projects.
• Assist in purchasing and procurement.
• Supervise Installations division staff.
• Develop additional business opportunities and improve proposal closing rate.
• Ensure a safe work environment.
