Cobalt Recruitment is hiring a Project Manager to own multi-million-dollar commercial boiler, heating, and plumbing installation projects in New York City from estimating through closeout. You’ll manage budgets, schedules, RFIs/submittals, and change orders while closely coordinating with the Superintendent and field team.

Ideal candidates bring subcontractor PM experience for mechanical systems, strong budgeting skills, and proficiency with Procore or MS Project.

Qualifications

• PM experience in heating/plumbing subcontracting or HVAC mechanical subcontractor work.
• Experience owning budgets, schedules, and change orders on multi-million-dollar mechanical installations.
• Proven ability to coordinate with field teams and main clients.

Responsabilités

• Own commercial boiler, heating, and plumbing installation projects from estimating to closeout.
• Build and manage project budgets, schedules, and cost reports.
• Review and process RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings.
• Estimate, negotiate, and document change orders.
• Partner with Superintendent and field team on sequencing and subcontractor scopes.
• Serve as the primary client contact with regular updates on schedule and budget.
• Lead project meetings with clients, engineers, architects, and city agencies.
