Linfield University seeks a Utilities Maintenance Specialist – Boiler Plant / Fleet Services to maintain the campus boiler plant and support equipment. You will perform inspections, repairs, and daily operations of steam and hot water plants, with supervision by Utilities Supervisor.

The role requires five years of boiler-related experience, strong safety knowledge, and the ability to train student workers. Candidates should have boiler operation and EMS familiarity.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required with specialized boiler operation training.
• Boiler operator certification required or obtainable.
• Experience with boiler plants, water treatment, pumps, and EMS control systems preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret specifications; basic computer skills.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain campus boiler plant, perform installation, inspection, and repair of boilers and pressure vessels.
• Operate daily steam and hot water plants; monitor safety and efficiency.
• Inspect water filtration and water treatment; test boiler feed water chemistry.
• Read blueprints, interpret codes, and document work orders; respond to emergencies.
• Train and supervise student and temporary employees.
• Diagnose and service fleet vehicles and Facilities Services equipment.
