Job summary

Renesas Electronics Corp. seeks a Principal Product Engineer for BMS ICs to drive qualification, characterization, and high-volume manufacturing release for automotive applications.

You will lead cross-functional teams to ensure functional safety and reliability throughout the product lifecycle. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in analog/mixed-signal design, test, and manufacturing, with experience in AEC-Q100, APQP, and ISO 26262 processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical/electronic engineering.
• 12+ years in product engineering with strong analog background.
• Experience with ATE platforms and lab test equipment.
• Familiarity with JEDEC/AEC qualification standards and stress testing.
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead qualification of new BMS products to meet automotive standards.
• Develop characterization plans to test BMS ICs across operating conditions.
• Apply statistical analysis for process monitoring and yield optimization.
• Support ISO 26262 safety compliance and APQP activities.
