Job summary

Mantis Innovation is seeking a Field Service Technician II to diagnose and resolve complex BMS issues across commercial and mission-critical environments. You will ensure reliable system operation by completing service work from start to finish, with a strong emphasis on first-time fix and quality documentation.

The role requires 90% overnight travel across the country for service repair work, supporting project needs and site safety protocols.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of BMS, building automation, or HVAC controls experience.
• Proficiency with Tridium Niagara (N4) or equivalent controls systems
• Strong troubleshooting capability across control systems (hardware, software, and networked systems)

Responsibilities

• Independently troubleshoot, service, and commission BMS systems in mission-critical environments
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and networked control system issues
• Execute service tickets from assignment through full resolution within SLA timelines
• Perform system upgrades, backups, restores, and configuration changes
• Execute commissioning and startup activities, including validation of system performance
• Install and configure control system components, including sensors, controllers, and panels
• Read and interpret control drawings to identify issues and implement solutions
