Job summary

Ghent Motor Company in Colorado is seeking a seasoned blue-printer to head up production in a 2-3 body tech shop. The role emphasizes industry experience, urgency, and central on-site activity within a thriving GM dealership.

You will oversee complete vehicle teardown, write precise repair plans with CCC ONE, and ensure OEM procedures are followed. Collaboration with Parts, Adjusters, and Production is essential for smooth workflow and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years as a collision estimator, blue-printer, or senior body technician.
• Mastery of CCC ONE estimating software is required.
• I-CAR Gold Class certification is preferred or willingness to achieve quickly.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 100% teardown of damaged vehicles with a teardown technician.
• Build line-item-accurate repair plans using CCC ONE.
• Research OEM procedures to ensure factory safety standards.
• Coordinate parts procurement with Parts Department for upfront ordering.
• Photograph and document damages for insurance and OEM compliance.
• Present data-backed repair plans to insurance appraisers for approvals.
• Maintain shop flow from teardown to metal and paint departments.
