Job summary

Quality Collision Group LLC, a Cascade Collision Repair brand, seeks a Blueprint Technician to perform detailed vehicle disassembly and damage analysis to craft complete repair plans before production begins.

You will identify required labor, parts, procedures and documentation, align plans with OEM and insurer requirements, and collaborate with estimators and production leadership to keep repairs moving smoothly.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of collision repair, collision estimating, blueprinting, or auto body repair experience.
• Hands-on knowledge of vehicle disassembly, damage identification, and collision repair procedures.
• Experience with CCC ONE or comparable collision estimating software.
• Strong mechanical and technical understanding of vehicle systems.
• Excellent attention to detail, documentation, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough vehicle teardown and inspection to identify visible and hidden collision damage.
• Document and photograph damage for repair orders, estimates, supplements, and insurance requirements.
• Create complete repair plans or blueprints using OEM procedures and approved estimating practices.
• Identify required parts, labor operations, sublets, calibrations, and repair procedures.
• Communicate repair plans with estimators, production managers, parts staff, and technicians.
• Update blueprints when additional damage or repair requirements are discovered.
• Verify that repair plans support safe, complete, and efficient repairs.
• Help reduce supplements and production delays by identifying repair needs early in the process.

Job Summary

The Blueprint Technician performs detailed vehicle disassembly and damage analysis to create a complete repair plan before production begins. This role identifies required labor, parts, procedures, and documentation so repairs can move efficiently with fewer delays and supplements. The Blueprint Technician partners with estimators, parts, technicians, and production leadership to ensure each repair plan aligns with OEM procedures, insurer requirements, and collision industry standards.

• Working knowledge of OEM repair procedures, DRP requirements, and insurer documentation standards.
• Experience with CCC ONE or comparable collision estimating software required.
• Strong mechanical and technical understanding of vehicle systems.
• Excellent attention to detail, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to perform complete vehicle inspections and teardowns and lift automotive parts up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
