Job summary

Ghent Motor Company in Greeley, CO seeks an experienced blue-printer to lead production in the back half of the body shop. You will supervise teardown, craft precise repair plans, and verify OEM procedures to meet factory safety standards.

You’ll coordinate parts procurement with the Parts Department, document damages with photos, and present data-backed repairs to insurers. A 2–3 year background in collision estimation is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years as a collision estimator, blue-printer, or senior body technician.
• Proficiency with CCC ONE estimating software is strictly required.
• I-CAR Gold Class certification is highly preferred and desirable to achieve quickly.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 100% teardown of damaged vehicles with a teardown technician.
• Write precise, line-item blueprints using CCC ONE estimating software.
• Research OEM repair procedures to meet factory safety standards.
• Identify and procure required parts with the Parts Department.
• Photograph and document damages to support insurance billing.
• Present data-backed repair plans to insurance adjusters for approval.
• Maintain shop flow from teardown to metal and paint departments.

# Blueprinter - Body Shop## Ghent Motor Company 2715 35th Ave., Greeley, CO Full TimeLooking for a seasoned blue-printer to head up production in the back half of a 2-3 body tech shop while bringing industry experience and a high sense of urgency for production. Centrally located in Greeley and able to boast on site facility within a thriving GM Dealership. Built in workload and ease of sublet for mechanical work, OE parts, and calibrations. Looking for quality over quantity in day to day work load.**Key Duties and Responsibilities****Conduct Complete Disassembly:** Oversee and execute the 100% teardown of damaged vehicles alongside a designated teardown technician to uncover all hidden damages immediately.**Write Precise Repair Plans:** Utilize CCC ONE estimating software to build comprehensive, line-item-accurate blueprints that minimize the need for future supplements.**Research OEM Repair Procedures:** Access and document official manufacturer guidelines (OEM procedures) for every vehicle to guarantee repairs meet factory safety standards.**Manage Parts Procurement:** Identify every clip, bracket, and structural component needed upfront, collaborating closely with the Parts Department to mirror order and verify incoming parts.**Photograph and Document:** Capture clear, detailed photographic evidence of all damages and required repair steps to support insurance billing and OEM compliance.**Communicate with Adjusters:** Present highly accurate, data-backed documentation to insurance appraisers to secure swift approval on repair plans.**Maintain Shop Flow:** Coordinate with the Production Manager to ensure vehicles transition smoothly from the teardown bay into the metal and paint departments.**Qualifications and Experience****Experience:** Minimum of 2–3 years of experience as a collision estimator, blue-printer, or high-level body technician.**Software Proficiency:** Mastery of CCC ONE estimating software is strictly required.**Certifications:** I-CAR Gold Class certification or a strong willingness to achieve it quickly is highly preferred.**Attributes:** Laser-focused attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a team-first attitude.**What We Offer**-Competitive salary plus commission pay structures tied to gross sales dollar, estimate hours & receivables.-Health, dental, and vision insurance.-Paid time off and Monday-Friday work week-Ongoing I-CAR and OEM manufacturer training.
