Job summary

VPET USA, LLC is seeking a senior Blow Mold Technician III for 2nd & 3rd shifts to lead setup, operation, troubleshooting, and optimization of blow molding equipment. The role requires advanced knowledge of PLCs, machine controls, and process improvements to maximize output and minimize downtime.

You will mentor operators, perform mold changes, and collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Production to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of blow molding processing and maintenance experience.
• Proficient in electrical and mechanical repair with strong PLC knowledge.
• Experience with extrusion blow molding equipment and process optimization.

Responsibilities

• Set up, start up, and optimize blow molding machines for production.
• Perform mold changes, tooling changes, and machine changeovers safely and efficiently.
• Install, align, and verify molds and tooling for quality production.
• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled machinery and diagnose faults using diagnostics.
• Read electrical schematics and machine blueprints; perform preventive maintenance.
• Train operators and junior technicians; support continuous improvement initiatives.
