Job summary

VPET USA LLC is seeking a Technician II to support our PET bottle production line with maintenance, troubleshooting, and process improvement tasks. You will assist the Chief Engineer and management on various projects to improve profitability, safety, and ergonomics.

The role involves machine installation support, preventative maintenance, downtime tracking, and cross-training for molding operations. A technical background in blow molding/injection is preferred, along with 5–7 years in

Qualifications

Experience with industrial processing equipment and infrastructure.
5-7 years minimum in an industrial setting with processing or maintenance responsibilities.
Technical School training in Injection/Blow Molding is preferred.
High School diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

Comply with all quality, safety, and work rules and regulations.
Process, troubleshoot and repair of all machines and support equipment.
Monitor and adjust bottle processes to optimize bottle quality and minimize scrap and maintain quality.
Complete preform and bottle changeovers.
Become proficient in blow molding and injection equipment operations & troubleshooting.
Replace or repair machine parts.
Assist with machine installation.
Reduce scrap and promote efficient operations of the cycle time.
Provide innovative solutions to production problems.
Follow start-up and shut-down procedures as required.
Preventative Maintenance.
Maintain downtime documentation for data collection and daily meetings.
Assist with cross-training technicians and mold changes.
