Job summary

Altium Packaging is seeking an experienced Machine Operator for our Sherman, TX facility. You will operate blow mold, grinder and trimmer machines, support the production line, and collaborate with teammates to maximize efficiency and quality.

Responsibilities include setting up machines, calibrating speeds, performing audits, and maintaining logs. A high school diploma and 2+ years of machine operation experience are required; overtime may be necessary. Competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years’ experience as a machine operator.
• Experience with blow mold machine operation preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals.
• Ability to work overtime and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Set up machines and calibrate to start production.
• Control and adjust machine settings (speed).
• Operate blow-mold machines and related equipment.
• Perform quality audits and checks.
• Enter data into SPC database for quality control measures.
• Troubleshoot and perform minor maintenance.
• Maintain activity logs.
