Job summary

Altium Packaging in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an experienced Machine Operator to run blow mold, grinder and trimmer equipment on the 12-hour Night Shift (7p-7:30a). You’ll troubleshoot, perform minor maintenance, and collaborate with teammates to keep production lines efficient and productive.

The role requires a high school diploma and 2+ years as a machine operator, with blow mold experience preferred. We offer a competitive hourly rate from $22-$24 plus a $1 shift premium, overtime potential,

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience as a machine operator.
• 2+ years' blow mold operation preferred.
• Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measuring tools (caliper, micrometer etc.).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and analytical skills are required.
• Troubleshooting and minor machine maintenance experience.
• Experience with lockout-tagout.

Responsibilities

• Set up machines (calibration, cleaning, etc.) to start a production cycle.
• Control and adjust machine settings (e.g., speed).
• Operate blow-mold machines (including wheels, reciprocator or shuttle machines).
• Perform audits, weights and quality checks.
• Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws.
• Enter data into SPC database for quality control measures.
