Altium Packaging is seeking an experienced Machine Operator in Bessemer, AL. You will operate blow-mold, grinder and trimmer machines, adjust settings, and work with the production line to maximize efficiency and output.

The role requires 2+ years of experience, strong mechanical skills, and the ability to read blueprints and manuals. Overtime may be required in a fast-paced environment; competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years’ experience as a machine operator.
• Reading blueprints, schematics and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate machines to start production.
• Operate blow-mold, grinder and trimmer machines within safety standards.
• Perform quality checks and logs; troubleshoot minor issues.
• Enter data into SPC database and maintain equipment logs.
