ENVISION ENERGY USA LTD is seeking a Senior Blade Structure Engineer to drive advanced composite blade design from field investigation through product‑level solutions. You will own complex structural challenges, apply multi‑fidelity tools, and translate physical insights into manufacturable designs that enable reliable field performance.

The role requires deep expertise in composites, FEA, and RCA, with collaboration across engineering, production, and operations in a hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Aerospace, Mechanical, Civil Engineering or related.
• 5+ years in wind energy, aerospace, or composites.
• Deep knowledge of composite design, damage mechanics, and manufacturing.
• Expertise in FEA/FEM modeling (ANSYS, ABAQUS) on shells and solids.
• Proven RCA experience for complex composite failures.
• Ability to collaborate across production, operations, and engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of composite design technologies from concept through validation and production integration.
• Develop multi‑fidelity tools to evaluate blade designs at component and product level.
• Characterize composite material behavior to drive design improvements.
• Identify structural challenges and lead solutions across laminate design, joint architecture, sandwich construction, and manufacturing.
• Collaborate with aerodynamics, loads, controls, and manufacturing to ensure integrated designs.
• Lead hands‑on field failure investigations and RCA, defining corrective actions.
• Define and implement corrective/preventive solutions linking field findings to upstream design.
• Work with blade material/testing teams to validate models against field evidence.
• Communicate findings clearly to engineering, production, and operations stakeholders.
