Job summary

8x8 seeks a Senior Engineer to own the full delivery stack—from API design through frontend UIs—driving AI-enabled development across React/Angular and Salesforce integrations. You’ll design MFEs, build scalable systems, and mentor teammates in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

You will work on end-to-end delivery, implement robust testing, and collaborate with BAs and stakeholders to deliver high-impact customer journeys, with compensation ranges reflecting US locations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering with strong fundamentals — OOP, data modeling, APIs, debugging, system design.
• Frontend experience in React or Angular — real apps that ship and scale.
• Experience with Micro Frontend architectures — module federation or equivalent.
• Ability to build/read/debug backend services in Java, Python, Node, or equivalent.
• Experience integrating REST/SOAP APIs across Salesforce, ERP, and data warehouses.
• Salesforce exposure — Apex, LWC, OmniStudio, CPQ.
• Measurably faster and better because of AI usage — Claude/Cursor AI.
• Familiar with Git, CI/CD, and Agile (Jira).

Responsibilities

• Engineering for scale — customer & partner systems.
• Deliver world-class experiences for quotes, self-service portals, and orders—reliable and scalable.
• Own end-to-end delivery: API design, business logic, integration, and UI.
• Design and maintain Micro Frontend architectures and shared component libraries.
• Collaborate with BAs, architects, and stakeholders to translate requirements.
• Mentor peers, perform code reviews, and raise the bar.
• Ensure testing and CI/CD deployments; triage post-deployment issues.
