Job summary

8x8 is seeking a Senior Engineer in Campbell, CA to own the full delivery stack from API design to modern frontend UX. You will design and implement MFEs, React/Angular UIs, and back-end integrations, including Salesforce-based workstreams, with a focus on scalable, reliable systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering with strong fundamentals (OOP, data modeling, APIs, debugging, system design).
• Production frontend experience in React or Angular with real apps that shipped and scaled.
• Experience with Micro Frontend architectures (module federation or equivalent).
• Ability to build/read/debug backend services in Java, Python, Node, or equivalent.
• Experience integrating systems via REST/SOAP APIs; Salesforce exposure (Apex, LWC).
• Measurably faster and more capable because of AI (Claude and Cursor) in daily work.
• Proficient with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile delivery (Jira).

Responsibilities
