Job summary

BD is seeking a Statistician/Biostatistician to support product development, clinical studies, and business decisions within a regulated healthcare environment. The role partners with cross-functional teams to design studies, develop statistical analysis plans, analyze complex data, and translate findings into actionable recommendations.

The ideal candidate holds a Master's or PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, or a related field and has hands-on experience with R and/or SAS.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, or related field.
3+ years of experience in regulated healthcare, life sciences, or medical device environment.
Experience applying statistical methods to product development or clinical research.
Proficiency in programming and validating analyses using R and/or SAS.

Responsibilities

Design, plan, analyze, and interpret studies to support product development and business decisions.
Develop study protocols, case report forms, and regulatory documents.
Create and maintain statistical analysis plans and SAPs.
Program, validate, and maintain statistical code in R and/or SAS.
Apply statistical methodologies to address standard and complex analyses.
Prepare clear statistical reports for internal and external audiences.
Present findings to cross-functional stakeholders and support regulatory needs.
