Job summary

BD is seeking a Statistician/Biostatistician to support product development, clinical studies, and business decision-making within regulated healthcare environments. You will design studies, develop analysis plans, run analyses in R or SAS, and translate results into actionable recommendations.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s or PhD in Statistics or Biostatistics, have 3+ years in regulated settings, and can manage multiple projects while communicating clearly with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in regulated healthcare, life sciences, or medical device environments.
• Proficiency in programming, documenting, and validating analyses in R and/or SAS.
• Experience applying statistical methods to product development, clinical research, or trials.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Experience communicating statistical results to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, analyze, and interpret studies supporting development and decisions.
• Develop and review study protocols and data collection forms.
• Create and maintain statistical analysis plans.
• Code, document, and validate analyses in R/SAS for reports and dashboards.
• Prepare clear statistical reports for internal and external audiences.
• Present findings to cross-functional stakeholders and contribute to publications.
