Vertex Pharmaceuticals LLC in Boston, MA seeks a Senior Biostatistician II to perform scientific statistical analyses in support of Global Medicines Development and Affairs with guidance on complex issues.

The role designs and executes statistical infrastructure for clinical trials, observational studies, and real-world data, prepares SAPs, TFLs, SRF presentations, and contributes to CSRs. PhD or MS in Statistics/Biostatistics required; 3+ years experience with SAS and R.

Qualifications

• SAS and R statistical software proficiency for drug development.
• Demonstrated understanding of statistical methods used in clinical research.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with non-statisticians.
• Willingness to translate complex analyses for diverse audiences.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and execute statistical infrastructure for trials and real-world data.
• Prepare SAPs, tables, figures, listings, and SRF presentations.
• Plan cross-functional reviews (xFDR, KRM, DDP) for data dissemination.
• Contribute to CSRs and related regulatory deliverables.
• Provide mentorship on new statistical methods and complex issues.
