Job summary

PATH is a global nonprofit advancing health equity. The Senior Statistician will lead statistical activities for vaccine trials (OPV/nOPV) in CVIA, with initial focus on polio development and international studies.

Reporting to the Director of Statistics, you will design analyses, review SAPs, oversee CROs, and present results to cross‑functional teams and donors, ensuring rigorous statistics across phases.

Qualifications

• Master or Doctoral degree in biostatistics or related field.
• 5+ years supporting clinical research with external stakeholders.
• Advanced knowledge of biostatistics and trial methodology.
• Experience with vaccine trials preferred; polio/enteric vaccines a plus.
• Proficiency in SAS and R; ability to communicate statistics clearly.

Responsibilities

• Serve as study statistician for OPV/nOPV trials across all phases.
• Lead design work including sample size, interim analyses, DSMB support.
• Develop or review SAPs and analyze trial data for reports.
• Provide statistical consultation to multidisciplinary teams.
• Oversee statistical CRO activities and ensure data integrity.
• Support regulatory submissions and scientific communications.
