Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking an SW Embedded BIOS Engineer to join our onsite team in Texas. The role focuses on bringing up and enabling complex HPC platforms through BIOS, hardware, OS, and validation work, with emphasis on reliability, performance, and hardware integration.

You will contribute to firmware development, including BIOS enhancements and platform initialization, and collaborate with software, hardware, and BIOS vendors to deliver high-quality solutions for server and HPC

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of BIOS development experience.
• Expertise with C/C++ in platform firmware development.
• UEFI firmware development, including driver development and debugging.

Responsibilities

• Bring up and enable complex HPC platforms across BIOS, hardware, OS, and validation boundaries.
• Contribute to early platform definition, firmware implementation, debug, and release readiness.
• Designs and maintains BIOS enhancements for server and HPC platforms.
• Assess design, coding, integration, and validation activities based on product goals.
• Write and execute test plans and documentation for BIOS and firmware areas; debug firmware issues.
