Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb in Seattle is seeking an Associate/Senior Associate Scientist to join the Gene Delivery & Editing Process Development team. The role supports AAV and Lentivirus work at the 50-200L pilot scale for cell therapy process development and early clinical manufacturing.

Responsibilities include upstream mammalian cell culture, bioreactor operation, downstream processing with chromatography and tangential flow filtration, plus data analysis, technical reporting, and presenting

Qualifications

• B.S. in Chemical/Biological Engineering, Immunology, Biology, or related science with 2–6 years biotech experience.
• Downstream processing experience using chromatography and/or tangential flow filtration.
• Strong scientific or technical writing and documentation skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform bioprocessing unit operations for AAV/Lenti at pilot scale.
• Handle upstream cell culture, bioreactor operation, and downstream processing.
• Prepare buffers, manage inventory, document experiments, and analyze data.
• Prepare technical reports and present results.
