Job summary
Takeda Pharmaceutical Co. in Lexington, MA is seeking a Senior Staff Engineer, Biologics Process Development to develop and optimize modeling tools for biopharmaceutical production.

Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with process modeling applications (gProms, GoSilico, BioSolve, SIMCA).
- Familiarity with cGMPs and regulatory submissions; ability to work independently and in a team.
- Strong communication and documentation skills; ability to present to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with AI/ML model applications and modeling transfer learning.
Responsibilities
- Mechanistic modeling of upstream and downstream processes with simulation software to enhance model-based development.
- Modeling process sustainability and economics for manufacturing platforms.
- Multivariate process trending analysis to optimize manufacturing processes for biopharmaceuticals.
- Apply modeling approaches to process development including model transfer learning.
- Provide modeling support for biopharmaceutical process characterization activities for validation.
