Qualifications

• PhD or MS in biochemical engineering/biotechnology, data sciences or predictive modeling with 3+ years (PhD) or 10+ years (MS) in modeling.
• Hands-on modeling of bioprocess systems in pharma.
• Familiar with cGMPs and regulatory submissions; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanistic models of upstream and downstream bioprocesses.
• Model process sustainability and economics for manufacturing platforms.
• Perform multivariate trending analysis to support process development.
• Apply modeling to process development including transfer learning.
• Provide modeling support for characterization activities and validation prep.
• Evaluate and select process modeling software for biopharma development.
