Job summary

Lonza in Portsmouth, NH is seeking a Senior Biotechnologist to lead the design, optimization, and scale-up of biologics and advanced therapy processes in a regulated biopharmaceutical environment.

You will develop robust upstream and/or downstream bioprocesses, drive tech transfer into GMP manufacturing, and support process characterization, validation, and regulatory filings while mentoring scientists and ensuring safety, quality, and patient-focused outcomes across projects.

Qualifications

• Lead design, optimization, and scale-up of biologics and ATMP processes.
• Develop robust upstream and/or downstream bioprocesses.
