Job summary

Lonza Portsmouth site is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Associate for the night shift to support downstream bioprocessing of therapeutic proteins on-site in Portsmouth, NH. You will lead chromatography and filtration operations, ensuring adherence to cGMP and GDP SOPs while maintaining safety and quality on the production floor.

This role requires 1+ year of downstream bioprocessing experience, knowledge of purification/filtration, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 1+ year downstream bioprocessing experience required.
• Knowledge of purification and filtration processes preferred.
• Strong understanding of cGMP, documentation practices, and process flow.

Responsibilities

• Lead downstream manufacturing processes, including chromatography and filtration operations.
• Monitor production and ensure SOP, cGMP, GDP compliance; troubleshoot issues.
• Review batch records and support deviation investigations; mentor associates.
