Job summary

Trimedx is actively seeking an experienced Biomedical Equipment Engineer to own uptime and safety of complex medical devices in a clinical engineering environment in Toledo, OH. You will diagnose, repair, and optimize hospital equipment, partnering with clinicians and leadership to improve patient care.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in biomedical equipment, an electronics/technical associate degree (bachelor's preferred), and CBET certification (preferred).

Qualifications

• 5+ years of biomedical equipment experience in a clinical engineering setting (required)
• Strong expertise in complex systems, diagnostics, networking, and hardware repair
• Associate degree in electronics/technical field or equivalent experience (required)
• Bachelor's degree (preferred); CBET certification (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of highly complex equipment-driving uptime, safety, and performance
• Solve advanced technical issues from system diagnostics to networked devices
• Act as a trusted advisor to clinicians and leadership on equipment use and strategy
• Lead projects and mentor technicians, raising the capability of the entire team
