Job summary

Trimedx is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician to own performance, repair, and calibration of complex clinical equipment at an onsite hospital. You will ensure equipment safety, coordinate with clinicians, and support documentation and inventory controls.

The role requires 3+ years in a clinical engineering setting, strong electronics and diagnostics skills, and an associate degree or TRIMEDX-certified equivalence. Travel possible as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of biomedical equipment experience in a clinical engineering environment.
• Strong technical skills (systems, diagnostics, hardware repair, error code interpretation).
• Associate degree in electronics/technical field or equivalent experience (or TRIMEDX certification).
• CBET Certification preferred
• Valid driver’s license; ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Own the performance, repair, and calibration of complex clinical equipment—keeping care uninterrupted
• Ensure critical medical equipment is safe, accurate, and ready when clinicians need it
• Guide clinicians on safe, effective equipment use
• Strengthen operations through accurate documentation, compliance, and smart inventory control
