Job summary

TRIMEDX seeks an experienced Biomedical Equipment Technician to own complex equipment, ensuring uptime, safety, and performance across clinical settings.

You will diagnose advanced system issues, advise clinicians and leadership on equipment use, and lead projects while mentoring technicians to raise team capability. Travel may be required as needed, with ongoing training and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of biomedical equipment experience in a clinical engineering setting (required)
• Strong expertise in complex systems, diagnostics, networking, and hardware repair
• Associate degree in electronics/technical field or equivalent experience (required)
• Bachelor’s degree (preferred); CBET certification (preferred)
• Valid driver’s license; ability to travel as needed

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of highly complex equipment—driving uptime, safety, and performance
• Solve advanced technical issues others can’t, from system diagnostics to networked devices
• Act as a trusted advisor to clinicians and leadership on equipment use and strategy
• Lead projects and mentor technicians, raising the capability of the entire team
