Job summary

TriMedx, LLC is seeking a senior Biomedical Equipment Technician to take ownership of highly complex medical equipment, driving uptime and patient safety across diverse clinical settings. You will diagnose advanced systems, advise clinicians on equipment use and strategy, and lead projects while mentoring technicians to raise the team’s capability.

Travel within the United States may be required. The role demands 5+ years of biomedical equipment experience in a clinical engineering environment,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of biomedical equipment experience in a clinical engineering setting.
• Strong expertise in complex systems, diagnostics, networking, and hardware repair.
• Associate degree in electronics/technical field or equivalent experience.
• Bachelor’s degree (preferred); CBET certification (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license; ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of highly complex equipment—driving uptime, safety, and performance.
• Solve advanced technical issues others can’t, from system diagnostics to networked devices.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clinicians and leadership on equipment use and strategy.
• Lead projects and mentor technicians, raising the capability of the entire team.
