Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting software and hardware issues in diagnostic medical imaging systems (MRI, CT, and PET).
• Performing quality checks to meet ACR, FDA and ISO 13485 requirements for diagnostic image quality.
• Identifying components causing image artifacts and improper scanner functioning.
• Producing corrective actions that are cost-effective and prevent recurrence.
• Monitoring effectiveness of corrective actions by testing and analyzing results.
• Conducting Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Designing parts and fixtures using CAD software; 3D printing parts; manufacturing using power tools.
