Job summary

Trimedx is seeking an Imaging Engineer III to install, inspect, repair, calibrate, and verify the performance of complex medical imaging equipment across MRI, CT, Cath-Labs, and Radiation Oncology. The role involves advising clinical staff on equipment use and staying compliant with regulatory standards.

This position requires 5+ years of hands-on experience and a foundational technical/electronics background; travel may be required, and a valid driver's license is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience repairing, maintaining, troubleshooting and installing medical imaging equipment.
• 2 year degree in technical/electronics required; waiver possible with TRIMEDX Trained Certification or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering technology preferred.
• Complex computer skills including interpreting error codes, defragmenting hard drives, and interpreting computer codes.
• Microsoft Office (Excel) and networking applications knowledge required.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform performance assurance inspections, scheduled maintenance, and operation verification procedures on complex medical imaging equipment.
• Repair, install, and calibrate imaging equipment and systems; inform supervisors of status and issues.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure proper service delivery.
• Maintain equipment database, inventories, and service history; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with Medical Physicist on radiation outputs for safety and compliance.
• Build and maintain relationships with clinicians; mentor and share expertise with others.
