Job summary
Endeavor Health is seeking an Imaging Engineer III to analyze, troubleshoot, and repair highly complex imaging systems across multiple sites in the Chicago area. The role involves installing and calibrating new equipment, coordinating with clinical staff, and providing advanced technical support to Biomedical Engineers.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years of service experience with imaging devices, strong knowledge of CT/MRI/Nuclear Medicine and PACS, and a solid understanding of radiation safety
Qualifications
- 5+ years of imaging equipment service across multiple classes including digital imaging and networking tech.
- Expert-level skills in one or more high-technology imaging modalities.
- Knowledge of CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, PACS, vascular/Cath labs, and radiation safety.
Responsibilities
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and repair highly complex diagnostic and therapeutic imaging equipment; install, calibrate, and test new imaging systems.
- Perform advanced service on imaging equipment per procedures and manufacturer recommendations.
- Interact with clinical staff to ensure needs are met and provide advanced technical support on complex devices.
- Act as a technical resource for Biomed Techs to grow their skills and handle first-call issues.
- Document inspection, repair, and adjustment records; train staff on equipment use.
