Apex Systems is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician II/III to support the Greater Philadelphia area. The role involves preventive maintenance, calibration, testing, and repair of biomedical devices and related technologies across multiple locations.

Responsibilities include safety checks, installation, and staying current with regulatory standards. Some on-call rotation and flexible scheduling are required, with opportunities for vendor training and career growth.

Competenze

• Minimum 1-2 years of progressive experience with biomedical equipment.
• Preferred: 3 years’ progressive experience performing electronic and/or electromechanical repairs on biomedical equipment.
• HS Diploma required; Associate degree in Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, or related fields preferred.

Mansioni

• Participate in new equipment evaluations, acquisitions, and installations.
• Prioritize scheduled maintenance in accordance with medical equipment maintenance management policy.
• Respond to requests for maintenance services from equipment users; perform initial assessment, problem verification, and troubleshooting.
• Reviews FDA, ECRI, manufacturer, and/or other device recall and problem notification sources to verify if any of the covered equipment falls within the problem equipment listings.
• Attending vendor sponsored technical training service schools.
• Participates in continuous performance improvement initiatives related to medical equipment use.
• Special projects and other duties in support of the hospital system as assigned.
• Periodically conforms to a flexible work schedule on an as-needed basis.
• Participates in on-call rotation and upgrade support.
