Intelas is hiring a BMET III to service and maintain a broad range of patient care equipment in hospital settings. You will manage equipment, perform planned maintenance, and develop PM procedures with accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or military/-equivalent experience in electronics/biomedical equipment.
• Minimum 3 years servicing clinical/patient care equipment in hospitals.
• Valid driver’s license for field service travel when required.
• Ability to work independently with some supervision.
• Good communication and strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs planned maintenance and electrical safety inspections on medical equipment per standards.
• Manages assigned equipment and schedules service.
• Performs pre-acceptance inspections and develops PM procedures.
• Ensures test equipment is calibrated and functioning properly.
• Responds to department calls to evaluate and rectify issues.
• Researches and orders repair parts within budget parameters.
• Maintains PO log and validates invoices for field staff.
• Provides informal training to equipment users and staff as needed.
• Participates in Quality Improvement / Risk Management initiatives.
• Maintains orderly and functional work environment.
• Provides on-call responsibilities as required.
