Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center seeks a Biomedical Clinical Engineering Specialist to lead hands-on maintenance and support for laboratory diagnostic equipment and systems, focusing on clinical chemistry and diagnostic workflows.

You will troubleshoot complex failures, participate in installation, upgrades and operational readiness, and collaborate with IT and clinical teams to strengthen internal capabilities and equipment uptime.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering Technology, Electronics, Information Technology or a related field with four years of biomedical/clinical experience including OEM training.
• Associate’s degree in Biomedical Engineering Technology, Electronics, Information Technology or a related field with six years of biomedical/clinical experience including OEM training.
• Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering, Clinical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or related discipline is preferred, with 10+ years of experience.

Responsabilidades

• Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, testing, repair and verification of laboratory and medical equipment.
• Serve as the primary HTM technical resource for laboratory diagnostic equipment, especially clinical chemistry systems.
• Independently troubleshoot complex equipment failures using diagnostics, schematics and OEM resources.
• Support installation, commissioning, upgrades, relocations and operational readiness.
• Collaborate with IT, Laboratory Operations and vendors on equipment connectivity and cybersecurity initiatives.
