Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to provide hands-on technology support across our campus. You’ll help ensure computers, devices, applications, and systems used by employees, clinicians, and researchers operate smoothly and efficiently.

In this role you’ll troubleshoot issues, support clinical environments, and contribute to patient care, research, and daily operations. The starting annual salary is $74,770 with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 1 year desktop/systems support.
• Associate’s degree with 3 years of desktop/support experience.
• High school diploma with 5 years of desktop/support experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide desktop, laptop, and mobile device support across the organization.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows, macOS, and iOS devices.
• Support printers, scanners, and peripheral equipment across campus.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and OS issues.
• Respond to service requests with excellent customer service and clear communication.
• Coordinate installations, upgrades, and deployments to minimize end-user disruption.
• Support technology projects from planning through implementation.
• Provide one-on-one technical assistance and training to employees.
• Document issues, solutions, and project updates per ITSM processes.
• Collaborate with networking, cybersecurity, and infra teams to resolve complex issues.
• Assist with testing and evaluating new hardware/software solutions.
• Identify opportunities to improve performance and recommend upgrades.
• Serve as hands-on resource during implementations and rollouts.
• Participate in on-call rotation for critical support.
