Job summary

Goldbelt Apex, part of the Healthcare Technology Transformation Group, seeks a Biomedical/Clinical Engineer V to support AFMEDCOM at Fort Detrick, MD. This onsite role will manage medical device lifecycles, evaluating equipment and coordinating with DoD stakeholders to ensure mission readiness.

The position requires HTM expertise, DoD/VA ecosystem knowledge, and travel to CONUS sites. Telework may be authorized with Government approval, but the role remains primarily onsite in Maryland.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or higher from an ABET-accredited program.
• 3+ years HTM and clinical engineering experience.
• Experience with lifecycle analysis, project management and requirements management.
• Travel to CONUS sites; US citizenship and CAC eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and biomedical engineering support for medical equipment lifecycle management.
• Support contingency, expeditionary, and WRM medical equipment programs.
• Develop and evaluate medical equipment requirements and lifecycle replacement strategies.
• Coordinate with OEMs and DoD stakeholders to resolve device connectivity and cybersecurity issues.
