Job summary

Goldbelt Apex, LLC in Maryland seeks a Biomedical/Clinical Engineer V to deliver Healthcare Technology Management support to AFMEDCOM at Fort Detrick. This role spans the medical equipment lifecycle for contingency, expeditionary, and War Reserve Materiel missions, from requirements and evaluation through acquisition, deployment, sustainment, modernization, and disposal.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) and clinical engineering experience involving analysis of a broad range of medical-device requirements.
• Experience must include medical device lifecycle analysis, project management, requirements management, market research, technical capability evaluations, clinical human factors analysis, installation considerations, IT/network considerations, cybersecurity, system/interface integration, facilities and environmental considerations.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive clinical and biomedical engineering support for medical equipment lifecycle management.
• Support contingency, expeditionary, and WRM medical equipment programs.
• Develop and evaluate medical equipment requirements and lifecycle replacement strategies.
• Perform technical assessments of medical devices and systems.
• Coordinate with OEMs, cybersecurity offices, requirement owners, contracting organizations, and other stakeholders to resolve device connectivity, cybersecurity, interface, and lifecycle issues.
