Job summary

Goldbelt Apex LLC seeks a Biomedical/Clinical Engineer V to provide HTM support to AFMEDCOM at Fort Detrick, MD. The role covers the equipment lifecycle from requirements to deployment, modernization, and disposal, with a focus on DoD and federal healthcare programs.

Onsite at Fort Detrick with occasional telework possible with government approval. Strong DoD, AFMS, DHA, or VA experience is preferred, including cybersecurity and RMF considerations.

Qualifications

• HTM/clinical engineering experience (3+ years) analyzing medical-device requirements.
• Full lifecycle analysis, project management, and requirements management.
• IT/network considerations and RMF/cybersecurity for medical devices.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and biomedical engineering support for medical equipment lifecycle management.
• Support contingency, expeditionary, and WRM medical equipment programs.
• Develop and evaluate equipment requirements and lifecycle replacement strategies.
• Perform technical assessments of medical devices and systems.
• Conduct market research and identify OEMs and technologies.
• Evaluate equipment against requirements and provide engineering recommendations.
• Support development of technical requirements and contracting packages.
• Coordinate with vendors and stakeholders to resolve connectivity and cybersecurity issues.
• Track projects for schedule, delivery, and risks.
• Assist with cost analyses and business case analyses.
