Job summary

Goldbelt Apex seeks a Biomedical Equipment Technician (BMET) responsible for maintenance, repair, calibration, and testing of complex biomedical equipment across military and civilian healthcare environments. You will oversee preventive maintenance, document and improve procedures, and may supervise other BMETs.

Requirements include a CACard, 6+ years of related experience, US citizenship, and ability to lift up to 40 pounds; travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Six or more years directly related experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a CACard.
• Travel requirement estimated to 25%.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Ensure biomedical equipment complies with Federal, State, and regulatory requirements; manage budgets and vendor relationships.
• Repair, install, maintain, calibrate, and inspect complex medical equipment and systems.
• Assign routine repairs and installations to subordinates and supervise performance.
• Perform preventive maintenance and electrical safety testing of clinical equipment and monitor external vendors.
