Job summary

Goldbelt Apex, part of the Healthcare Technology Transformation Group, seeks a Biomedical/Clinical Engineer V to support AFMEDCOM at Fort Detrick, MD. You will manage medical equipment lifecycle from requirements through disposal, focusing on contingency, expeditionary, and WRM programs.

Onsite with some telework possible with government approval. Ideal candidate has HTM/clinical engineering experience with DoD/MHS/DHA, strong analytical and communication skills, and ability to manage multiple

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) and clinical engineering experience.
• Experience with medical-device lifecycle analysis, project management, and requirements management.
• Knowledge of medical-device cybersecurity, RMF, and IT/network considerations.
• Strong written and verbal communication with Government/DoD stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive clinical and biomedical engineering support for medical equipment lifecycle management.
• Support contingency, expeditionary, and WRM medical equipment programs.
• Develop and evaluate medical equipment requirements and lifecycle replacement strategies.
• Perform technical assessments of medical devices and systems.
• Coordinate with OEMs, cybersecurity offices, and contracting organizations to resolve issues.
• Support development of technical requirements and contracting/procurement packages.
• Track ongoing projects and identify schedule, delivery, installation, and technical risks.
