Job summary

Solution One Industries seeks a Biomedical Equipment Technician III at Fort Detrick, MD, to manage maintenance, calibration, and modernization of critical medical devices. The role supports Army medical logistics and deployment readiness with advanced technical guidance across multiple programs.

The ideal candidate has 12+ years in biomedical equipment maintenance, CMMS proficiency, and strong regulatory knowledge.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Biomedical Equipment Technology or related field.
• Minimum of twelve (12) years of progressively responsible biomedical equipment maintenance experience.
• Experience interpreting schematics, technical manuals, and manufacturer documentation.
• Proficiency utilizing CMMS and standard Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Advanced medical equipment maintenance, repair, calibration, and performance verification.
• Provide expert guidance and mentorship to junior BMET personnel.
• Support medical readiness programs and lifecycle management for deployable assets.
• Maintain documentation, warranties, and service histories; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead root-cause analysis and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
