HJF is seeking a Senior Biomarker Repository Technician to perform research and/or development in collaboration with other scientific and technical staff. The technician may exercise technical discretion in designing, executing, and interpreting experiments that contribute to project strategies. The contractor shall assist in developing and independently executing protocols adhering to experimental designs for biomarker verification, in collaboration with the project Lead/PI, in BSL-2, BSL-3, and BSL-4 environments.
This position supports the United States Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases (USAMRIID) Technical Research Support Services at Fort Detrick, Frederick, MD. USAMRIID collaborates with various military, government, interagency, and private entities to protect warfighters from biological threats, investigating disease outbreaks and threats to public health through research, development, testing, and evaluation of medical countermeasures.
