Job summary

ChromoLogic LLC is seeking a Senior Scientist, Bioinformatics to lead discovery, development, and validation of novel biomarkers for prognostic and precision medicine applications.

You will design pipelines for NGS and multi-omics data, apply ML and Bayesian methods, and collaborate with biologists, clinicians, and external partners to translate data into actionable insights that improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in a quantitative discipline relevant to computational biology
• 2–5+ years of postdoctoral, academic, biotech, pharma, or industry experience
• Proven expertise in NGS data analysis and bioinformatics workflow development
• Strong proficiency in Python, R, or similar languages
• Experience applying ML, Bayesian modeling, or advanced statistics to biological data
• Ability to independently design studies, analyze complex data, and draw scientific conclusions
• Strong collaboration in multidisciplinary research environments
• Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation communication skills

Responsibilities

• Lead bioinformatics efforts supporting discovery and validation of nucleic acid biomarkers
• Develop, optimize, and maintain pipelines for NGS and multi-omics data analysis
• Apply ML, Bayesian statistics, and predictive modeling to identify meaningful patterns
• Design and execute end-to-end analytical strategies from hypothesis to reporting
