Job summary
BioAgilytix in Durham, NC is seeking a hands-on Scientist to design, develop, and execute bioanalytical methods and LC/MS experiments supporting GLP-like regulatory studies in collaboration with client programs. You will lead method development, validation, and data analysis across multiple projects while maintaining compliance and data integrity.
The role emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams, rapid problem-solving, and delivering high-quality results.
Qualifications
- BS, MS, or PhD with 8+ years in a scientific lab environment
- Experience developing LC/MS-based bioanalytical assays
- Strong understanding of GLP/GxP and regulated environments
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to supervise and mentor junior staff
Responsibilities
- Lead assay development, validation, and sample analysis for biologics, proteins, peptides, ADCs, and biomarkers
- Plan and direct experimental design for junior staff
- Drive projects to meet client timelines
- Communicate with clients on technical details and provide updates
- Author methods, SOPs, and reports
- Perform data analysis and statistics
- Review documentation and peer data
- Assist with reagents, inventory, and lab readiness
- Occasional travel as needed
- Supervise Analyst I/II/III when required
