Job summary

Quiddity is seeking a Senior BIM Technician to support water and wastewater infrastructure projects in Texas. You will develop and maintain Revit models, construction documents, plan sets, and details, coordinating with engineers, designers, and project managers to deliver accurate, complete documents.

The role requires independence, attention to detail, and ability to mentor junior BIM technicians, while helping improve templates, standards, and workflows.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in drafting, design, engineering technology, or related field and 2+ years of progressively complex BIM/Revit experience; or
• High school diploma/GED and 6+ years of progressively complex BIM/Revit experience; or
• Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Revit models and construction documents for water and wastewater infrastructure projects from preliminary design through final plan production.
• Translate design concepts, sketches, redlines, and technical information into accurate Revit models and drawings.
• Produce plan sets, profiles, sections, details, schedules, and other deliverables for water distribution, sanitary sewer, lift stations, and related infrastructure.
• Coordinate Revit models and drawings with other disciplines and identify potential conflicts.
• Complete redlines, revisions, and drawing updates with minimal supervision.
• Perform QA/QC of personal work and assist with reviewing others' BIM work.
• Set up and maintain Revit project files, views, sheets, templates, families, and project BIM components.
• Assist with maintaining and improving Revit standards, templates, workflows, and production procedures.
• Troubleshoot routine Revit and BIM issues and escalate complex problems.
• Communicate project progress, workload, deadlines, and technical challenges to team members.
• Assist with training and mentoring junior BIM technicians.
• Maintain knowledge of Revit, BIM practices, and industry standards.
