Job summary

Quiddity is seeking a Senior BIM Technician to develop and maintain Revit models and construction documents for water and wastewater projects in a collaborative environment in Dallas. You will translate design concepts into accurate drawings and coordinate with engineers and designers to ensure complete deliverables.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in drafting, design, engineering technology, or related field or 6+ years BIM/Revit experience.
• High school diploma/GED with 6+ years BIM/Revit experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Revit models and construction documents for water and wastewater infrastructure projects from preliminary design through final plan production.
• Translate design concepts, sketches, redlines, and technical information into accurate Revit models and drawings.
• Produce plan sets, profiles, sections, details, schedules, and other project deliverables.
• Coordinate Revit models and drawings with other disciplines and identify conflicts.
• Complete redlines, revisions, and drawing updates with minimal supervision.
• Perform QA/QC of personal work and review work of junior BIM technicians.
• Set up and maintain Revit project files, views, sheets, templates, families, and BIM components.
• Assist with maintaining Revit standards, templates, workflows, and production procedures.
• Troubleshoot routine Revit and BIM issues and escalate complex issues as needed.
• Communicate project progress, workload, deadlines, and technical challenges to the team.
• Assist with training and mentoring junior BIM technicians.
• Maintain knowledge of Revit and water/wastewater industry standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
