Job summary

The Shaw Group in The Woodlands, TX seeks a CSA designer and BIM Revit modeler to create and administer Revit standards, templates, families, and metadata. You will train coworkers and operate Revit to deliver 2D/3D design deliverables, ensuring modular steel structures, piping, electrical, and equipment supports meet codes and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of closely related experience in Revit.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Design/Drafting Certificate or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide design team with design guidance and direction.
• Define scope and project objectives to accomplish design goals.
• Respond to both internal and external communication regarding project status.
• Partner with team members to ensure projects meet objectives.
• Perform self-check and checking of others.
• Create 2D deliverables, such as fabrication drawings.
• Optimize existing designs to aid equipment layout and module transportation.
• Operate and lead activities requiring Revit
• Train coworkers in Revit
